CLEANING BUDDY? NOPE

Today, I tried cleaning the house.... I put Logan in her swing and of course, she wasn't being held, so she started to fuss. I then tried to out smart her. I put one of Shayne's baby dolls that was occupying Logan's crib in the swing with her (all of Logan's stuff has Shayne's baby dolls in them). Believe it or not, this actually worked for about 20 minutes before she started fussing again. This was the longest stretch where she was in her swing yet! I at least got our bathroom clean before I had to pick her up again. I then put her in her sling that I carry around and all was good again~ As long as she is close to someone, she is content. Logan fell asleep in the sling within a minute. I think that we will have some rough months ahead breaking her of this which I am not looking forward to!!!

TUMMY TIME

TUMMY TIME AGAIN.... AND LOGAN STILL ISN'T IMPRESSED. I HAD LAID HER DOWN ON THE BLANKET ABOUT 30 MINUTES BEFORE A FEEDING. I GUESS SHE GOT HUNGRY A BIT EARLY~ SHE KEPT TRYING TO EAT THE BLANKET. HOWEVER, HER NECK IS GETTING SO STRONG. OF COURSE I DIDN'T CAPTURE HER LIFTING HER HEAD ON CAMERA, A BIT OF A DELAY WITH OUR CHEAP OLYMPUS.

Jealous dog???

I took Shayne to dance class last Wednesday and this is what we came home to....... I heard Shayne yell down the hall, "Mommy, come quick" and when I walked into our bedroom, Shayne had her hands on her hips over this mess. I had to get the camera. I wasn't as interested in the mess that Rowdy made, but thought that it was funny how dramatic Shayne got over what he did.

Rowdy had taken all of Logan's diapers out and ripped/bit half of them up. Shayne recommended that we give Rowdy a "time out" because she was "very angry with him for ruining her sisters diapers."

Also, Shayne is into dressing herself. Trust me, I wouldn't pair a tutu with poka dot tights:) WOW~ FASHION STATEMENT!

The pool in Breckenridge at Grand Lodge where one of our friends has a condo. It was perfect for the kids to swim while the adults went skiing. Well, all of the adults except for me, which is okay since I am an awful at skiing!!!
This pool was so cool. The kids could go from the pool inside to outside, by swimming under a wall. I took this picture of Shayne and Tyler swimming outside by the slopes. It was absolutely beautiful!

Shayne's Valentine Program

Shayne's biggest fan at her school program:)
Shayne's school put on a Valentine Program for parents on Feb 9th. It was quite cute! The kids sang about 9 songs all with the word "Love" in it. Shayne was adorable and did pretty well with all of the movements that went along with the song. Rich was video taping and she kept waving to him and saying "hi daddy." When she noticed where I was standing taking snap shots, she stuck her tongue out at me and waved.... She can be quite the goof ball:)

Logan loves to cuddle.... She will only fall asleep if she is in her bassinet, car seat or if she is being held. When she is in her swing or bouncy chair, she just looks around at everything. I took her into the doctor the other day because she had a blocked tear duct. She is up to 9 lbs, 5 oz and filling out by the minute! I love the chunky thighs!!!!
